Born into an English and German family in Germany, I am a native speaker of German and English. I have attended both German and English schools, graduated from King’s College London in 1999 with a top honours German language and literature degree as well as postgraduate studies in Modern Foreign Language Teaching from UCL’s Institute of Education. I also hold postgraduate degrees within Organisational and Social Psychology and International Law and Human Rights. I have worked in Basel, Bern, Frankfurt, Hamburg, London, Munich, Tel Aviv, and also Zurich for most of my professional working life. Besides teaching German, I also also work as a speechwriter and simulcast / chuchotage interpreter for statesmen and stateswomen, parliamentarians, and diplomats on both sides of the moderate political spectrum, and for Fortune 1000 business leaders mainly within medical technology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare companies.
